Dubai Police Adds Latest Tesla Model To Its Traffic Patrol Fleet

The Dubai Police has recently expanded its traffic patrol fleet by incorporating the latest Tesla model, fully adorned in the Force's livery.

Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic, highlighted that these new patrols are part of Dubai Police's ongoing efforts to use modern vehicles equipped with advanced technologies.

"The new patrols aim to activate a faster response time and provide better police presence in the field. This aligns with Dubai Police's efforts to adopt the best innovative initiatives and projects in line with its forward-looking plans and programs," he stated.

The handover ceremony saw Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan receiving the new vehicles from Mr. Mottie Benhamou, General Manager of Tesla Automotive in the UAE. Several officers and staff from both sides attended this event.

The new Tesla vehicles will be deployed to manage traffic flow and bolster the security presence of police officers in tourist areas and other locations across the emirate. This initiative aims to improve both traffic management and overall security.
