Dubai Chamber Assists Firms In Entering Global Electric Vehicle Market

Dubai International Chamber has recently facilitated the growth of two Dubai-based enterprises, enabling their expansion into the global electric vehicle (EV) market. This strategic move involves a partnership between ONE MOTO, a company specializing in electric vehicles, and Global Synergy Trading, known for its expertise in international trade, warehousing, logistics, and after-sales support. The collaboration has led to the formation of ONE-MOTO Technologies Private Limited, aimed at managing joint operations in the Indian market, specifically focusing on two-wheeled EVs.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, expressed the organization's commitment to identifying and promoting overseas opportunities for Dubai-based companies. The initiative is part of a broader effort to accelerate economic development and reinforce Dubai's status as a premier global hub for growth and opportunities. Adam Ridgway, Founder and CEO of ONE MOTO, acknowledged the crucial role played by Dubai Chambers in facilitating the company's international expansion and the successful partnership with Global Synergy Trading.

Naveen D Egbert, CEO of Global Synergy Trading, highlighted the partnership's focus on delivering eco-friendly, zero-emission, and cost-effective transportation solutions. The collaboration aims not only to diversify Global Energy Trading's business but also to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.

The Dubai International Chamber has been instrumental in driving ONE MOTO's growth, particularly through its representative offices in Latin America. A notable achievement includes establishing a connection between ONE MOTO and Santiago Motors in Chile. This partnership has enabled the UAE start-up to distribute its electric vehicles across Chile through Santiago Motors' national sales network.

Adam Ridgway's vision for ONE MOTO was to decarbonize mobility within both commercial and personal sectors. Since its inception in Dubai, ONE MOTO has successfully entered markets in the UK, Bahrain, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Chile, Iraq, Nepal, and Ethiopia. The company is now set to further expand its global footprint.
