RTA Auction Fetches Dh65 Million From Distinctive Vehicle Plates In Dubai
The latest public auction for distinctive vehicle plate numbers in Dubai, identified as auction number 115, has successfully raised an impressive Dh65.588 million. This event marks a notable increase in proceeds of approximately 28% compared to the previous auction's earnings of Dh51.216 million. The auction was hosted at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City Hotel, drawing significant attention from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
The highlight of the auction was the sale of the number AA16, which fetched a staggering Dh7.320 million, making it the auction's top sale. Following closely were the numbers AA69 and AA999, which were sold for Dh6 million and Dh4.050 million, respectively. These sales underscore the high value and demand for unique vehicle plate numbers among collectors and enthusiasts in the region.

The auction offered a diverse selection of 90 distinctive numbers, catering to a variety of preferences. The numbers spanned across two-, three-, four-, and five-digit categories, including a broad range of series from AA to various other combinations.
