Deepal Unveils G318 Hybrid SUV In UAE Through Al Tayer Motors

DEEPAL, a brand under Changan Automobile, launched the DEEPAL G318 in the UAE through Al Tayer Motors. This follows the success of their S05 and S07 models in the region. The launch event took place on November 18 at Nara Oasis, located within Dubai's Nara Desert Escape.

The G318 is designed for both urban and off-road environments, offering a comfortable driving experience. It features Super Hybrid Technology and a bold design, reflecting DEEPAL's philosophy of combining performance, efficiency, and versatility.

The exterior of the G318 showcases DEEPAL's 'Meteorolite Cutting' design philosophy. Inspired by natural metallic forms, it features aerodynamic lines and a commanding stance. Inside, the vehicle offers a high-tech layout with a large control screen and ergonomic refinements for driver convenience.

The interior also includes soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and noise insulation to enhance comfort. The G318's Magic-Carpet Suspension system integrates adaptive damping, air suspension, and terrain scanning technology for superior ride quality across various surfaces.

At its core is DEEPAL's Super-Hybrid system, combining dual-motor 4WD performance with an electric powertrain. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds while converting up to 3.63 kWh of electricity per litre of fuel. This ranks among the top fuel-to-electric conversion rates globally.

Safety is prioritized with eight airbags and advanced driver-assistance systems like Integrated Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC) and Blind Spot Detection. A 540° panoramic image view enhances visibility for drivers.

The G318's Smart Cockpit includes online navigation, remote mobile control, and bilingual voice interaction in English and Arabic. Passengers enjoy a premium atmosphere with the DEEPAL Sound System and sound-insulating glass throughout the cabin.

The G318 aligns with Changan's focus on sustainable mobility through its Golden Shield Battery. This battery has zero spontaneous combustion incidents across over 400,000 units in service. The hybrid powertrain minimizes fuel consumption while maximizing range.

The DEEPAL G318 is available in the UAE starting at AED 129,900 with warranties covering six years or 150,000 km for the vehicle and eight years or 150,000 km for the battery.
