AW Rostamani Group To Showcase Zeekr At UAE Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit

AW Rostamani Group (AWR), a prominent UAE conglomerate, has officially announced its sponsorship and participation in the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) this year, marking a significant stride towards the future of sustainable mobility. The event, scheduled from May 20-22 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), will serve as a platform for AWR to unveil Zeekr, its premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, to the UAE market in response to the growing demand for electric vehicles.

AWR's engagement at the summit is a testament to the UAE's ambitious electric vehicle initiatives and its commitment to promoting sustainable transport solutions. Roberto Colucci, Director of Zeekr UAE, AW Rostamani Group, will participate in a panel discussion titled 'Roadmap to Electrification – Insights into the Middle East EV Market.' In conjunction with its participation, AWR has introduced an exclusive offer for EVIS attendees, valid for a limited period. This includes a 0% interest rate for up to five years with ADIB, applicable to all Zeekr models and grades for both retail and fleet customers. Moreover, purchasers can avail of a comprehensive warranty package, covering five years or 120,000 kilometers for the car body and eight years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery, subject to specific terms and conditions.

Colucci expressed enthusiasm about the UAE's notable position on the Electric Vehicle Readiness Index, leading the MENA region and ranking seventh globally. He emphasized Zeekr's dedication to advancing EV innovation and the significance of EVIS as a forum for engaging with industry leaders to tackle challenges and foster industry growth. Colucci highlighted the goal of educating consumers about EV ownership, focusing on technology, charging infrastructure, and maintenance to demystify electric vehicles for the general public.
