Automechanika Riyadh 2024: Showcasing The Future Of Automotive Aftermarket

Saudi Arabia is poised to host the sixth edition of Automechanika Riyadh, the premier trade show for the automotive aftermarket, starting tomorrow. The event, which runs from 30 April to 2 May 2024 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC), will see over 340 exhibitors from 26 countries and is expected to attract more than 8,000 visitors. Covering three halls and exceeding 11,000 square metres, the exhibition will present a wide array of products from both local and international brands, alongside unprecedented networking opportunities aimed at fostering business growth.

Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia for Trade Shows & Conferences, highlighted the event's significance to the automotive aftermarket industry, emphasizing its comprehensive representation of the sector. Aly Hefny, Show Manager at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, further noted the event's role in bringing industry professionals together to discover new technologies and business prospects within the region.

Automechanika Riyadh 2024 Opens

The Automechanika Riyadh Academy, a feature throughout the exhibition, will offer keynote presentations, panel discussions, and market updates from industry leaders and speakers from top global companies like Bosch, Renault, and Nissan, as well as esteemed representatives from the Saudi Government.

The opening day will commence with a keynote speech by Eng. Saleh Al Khabti, Deputy Minister of Investment Transaction, Ministry of Investment, KSA, followed by presentations on the Kingdom's automotive industry landscape and discussions on sustainability, innovation, and urban mobility. Subsequent days will delve into growth opportunities in the GCC automotive aftermarket, the impact of technology, and strategies for successful aftermarket distribution. The event will conclude with a workshop on aftersales learning and development led by Farid Sfeir, Training Manager at Tiqani Inc.

An exclusive feature of the event, The Premium Club, will facilitate meetings between senior buyers and key decision-makers, providing a streamlined purchasing process and premium business matchmaking opportunities.

Automechanika Riyadh will also host six country pavilions, including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, and Singapore, with significant participation from exhibitors from Germany, the UK, the United States, Japan, India, and Pakistan. The GCC nations, particularly the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, will have a considerable presence, with Saudi exhibitors occupying over a quarter of the exhibition space.

The event categorizes its exhibits into eight product categories: Parts & Components, Electronics & Systems, Accessories & Customising, Tyres & Batteries, Car Wash & Care, Oils & Lubricants, Diagnostics & Repair, and Body Paint. Automechanika Riyadh is among 14 Automechanika events globally, licensed to 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
