Automechanika Dubai 2024 To Honour Groundbreaking Innovations In MEA Automotive Aftermarket

Automechanika Dubai, a premier event for the automotive aftermarket industry, has announced the commencement of the 2024 Automechanika Dubai Awards. This notable event, now in its fourth year, recognises exceptional achievements and innovations within the automotive aftermarket and service sectors.

The awards come amidst notable growth in the UAE and Middle East's automotive aftermarket. Increased vehicle sales, higher demand for maintenance, and digital solution adoption are key drivers. Virtue Market Research forecasts the MEA market to hit USD 69.39 billion by 2030, with an 8.2% CAGR from 2024 to 2030.

Categories Highlighting Automotive Excellence

This year's awards will feature 13 categories spotlighting various industry accomplishments. The Service Excellence category includes five awards: Body Shop of the Year and Workshop of the Year for passenger cars, Service Provider of the Year for commercial vehicles, Car Care Specialist of the Year, and Mobile Services Provider of the Year.

The Products category will honour Innovation Product of the Year, Sustainability Product of the Year, Safety Product of the Year, and Digital Product of the Year. The Transformation category includes Digitalisation Project of the Year and Start Up of the Year. In addition, there are awards for Women in Automotive Market and a Special Recognition Award.

The application window for these awards is open until 30 August 2024. Companies have until then to submit their contributions to be considered. Finalists will be revealed on 10 November 2024. The winners will be honoured at a ceremony on 11 December 2024 during Automechanika Dubai's trade show from 10-12 December at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The upcoming edition marks Automechanika Dubai's 21st year. It will feature over 2,200 exhibitors from 60 countries and expects more than 56,000 visitors.
