Al-Futtaim Toyota has unveiled the innovative Land Cruiser Hybrid in the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant milestone as the series' first hybrid electric variant. This launch heralds a new era for the iconic Land Cruiser, blending over seventy years of rugged heritage with the latest in Toyota's hybrid technology. This powerful fusion ensures the vehicle remains a benchmark in reliability, durability, and off-road prowess while advancing performance through electrification.

The introduction of the Land Cruiser Hybrid signifies Toyota's stride towards achieving carbon neutrality, aligning with its comprehensive strategy to diversify its vehicle offerings. By leveraging its 28-year dominance in hybrid technology, Toyota has engineered an off-road vehicle that doesn’t compromise on power or environmental consciousness. Its 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 engine, coupled with a parallel hybrid system, delivers an unmatched power output of 457hp and 790Nm, making it the most potent Land Cruiser yet.

The Land Cruiser Hybrid's development benefitted from Toyota's extensive off-road experience, including insights gained from competing in the Dakar Rally.
