Transavia France Sets To Initiate Direct Paris To Jeddah Flights In December

Saudi Arabia's Air Connectivity Program has welcomed the introduction of Transavia France Airlines' direct flights between Paris and Jeddah. The flights, which are set to commence in December, will operate twice weekly in both directions using Boeing 737 aircraft from Orly and Lyon airports.

Majid Khan, CEO of the Air Connectivity Program, stated that this development would promote inbound tourism from Paris-Orly and Lyon to Saudi Arabia, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He also expressed enthusiasm for establishing a long-term partnership with Transavia. The program aims to foster tourism growth in Saudi Arabia by enhancing air connectivity with other countries, expanding potential air routes, and linking the Kingdom to new global destinations.

As an executive enabler of the National Tourism Strategy and the National Aviation Strategy, the program seeks to strengthen collaboration and forge partnerships between key players in the public and private sectors within the tourism and aviation industries. This is intended to solidify Saudi Arabia's position as a top-tier tourist destination with robust air connectivity.
