Sharjah To Muscat Bus Route Opens February 27, Strengthening UAE-Oman Links
In a significant development for regional connectivity, a new bus service linking the UAE and Oman is set to commence, facilitating easier travel between Sharjah and Muscat. This comes following an agreement between Oman's National Transport Company, Mwasalat, and the Roads and Transport Authority of Sharjah. Starting February 27th, the service aims to enhance the transportation links between the two nations.
The service boasts four daily trips, with two departures from each city. It is designed to offer convenience and efficiency, operating via Shinas to ensure a smooth journey for passengers travelling between these key cities. This new route not only strengthens the ties between the UAE and Oman but also provides a reliable and comfortable option for travellers.
Passengers availing themselves of this service will be permitted to check-in baggage up to 23kg, in addition to 7kg of hand baggage, catering to the needs of travellers carrying luggage. The pricing is competitive, with fares beginning at 10 Oman Rials (approximately Dh95.40) and going up to 29 Oman Rials (about Dh276.66), making this an attractive option for both tourists and residents looking for affordable travel solutions.
