RTA Launches Two New Bus Services To Link Major Communities in Dubai

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched two new circular bus routes: DH1, connecting Dubai Hills and Equity Metro Station, and DA2, linking DAMAC Hills and Dubai Studio City.

Adel Mohammed Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development at the Public Transport Agency of RTA, highlighted the importance of providing public transport services to facilitate movement across the emirate. This includes offering convenient, fast, and seamless mobility options to enhance integration with developer communities.

New Circular Routes

Shakeri detailed the new routes: DH1 is a circular service running between Dubai Hills and Equity Metro Station every hour. The first bus departs from Dubai Hills at 7:09 am, with the last trip leaving at 10:09 pm on weekdays and at 12:09 am on weekends (Friday to Sunday).

The DA2 route operates between DAMAC Hills and Dubai Studio City with a two-hour frequency. The first bus leaves DAMAC Hills at 5:47 am, while the last one departs at 9:32 pm daily. The fare for this journey is Dh5.

These new routes are part of RTA's initiative to improve the internal bus network and strengthen connections with other forms of public transportation in the Emirates. By enhancing these connections, RTA aims to make public transport the preferred choice for residents.
