New Ritz-Carlton Reserve To Open In Neom's Mountainous Trojena
Marriott International is set to expand its luxury portfolio in Saudi Arabia with the introduction of a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Trojena, the new mountain destination within the ambitious Neom megaproject. This development is a part of Saudi Arabia's push to enhance its luxury tourism sector, catering to a growing demand for high-end travel experiences.
The anticipated resort will feature 60 expansive villas ranging from one to four bedrooms, each designed to offer a unique blend of comfort and luxury. The property is also expected to provide guests with a plethora of amenities, including a spa, several swimming pools, and multiple dining options, ensuring a stay that is both indulgent and serene.
Chadi Hauch, the regional vice president of Lodging Development Middle East at Marriott International, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Neom. "Together with Neom, we look forward to bringing this ultra-luxury experience to Trojena. This signing also marks an important addition to our portfolio in Saudi Arabia where we continue to see a strong demand for our luxury brands," he said.
Philip Gullett, the executive director and Trojena region head, highlighted the uniqueness of Trojena as a destination. Trojena is being developed as a year-round adventure sports and leisure destination, offering activities such as skiing, water sports, hiking, and mountain biking. The area will also feature apartments, chalets, retail spaces, dining options, entertainment and leisure facilities, sports and recreational amenities, and other hospitality offerings, including a W Hotel and a JW Marriott Hotel, broadening the scope of luxury accommodations within the region.
The Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Trojena will join an elite group of only six Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties worldwide, located in exclusive destinations such as Thailand, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. This expansion not only underscores Marriott International's commitment to luxury hospitality but also showcases Saudi Arabia's potential as a premier destination for luxury travelers around the globe.
