Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), renowned for its innovative approach to global cruise travel, has proudly announced its deployment for the spring and summer of 2027. This unveiling heralds over 500 voyages spanning 20 ships, setting sail from nearly 30 premier homeports around the globe, such as Miami, Seattle, New York City, Southampton in England, and Rome's Civitavecchia in Italy.

NCL's offerings for this season are designed to cater to a wide range of preferences, providing more than 170 overnight stays in coveted locations like Istanbul, Reykjavik in Iceland, and Bermuda's Royal Naval Dockyard. From April to October 2027, the cruise line's fleet, celebrated for its excellence, will visit over 150 unique ports across 59 countries.

NCL Reveals 500 Voyages for 2027

David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line, emphasises the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional vacation experiences. "We're proud to be the cruise line of choice for travelers who want MORE out of their vacation – MORE freedom, MORE destinations and MORE unforgettable experiences," Herrera stated.

He highlighted the diverse offerings available, from European city hops and Alaskan wilderness explorations to relaxing beach days at the company's resort-style destinations. Special mention was made of the upcoming enhancements to Great Stirrup Cay, NCL's private island in the Bahamas, promising guests an array of new experiences to enjoy.

A significant part of NCL's 2027 plans includes updates to Great Stirrup Cay, set to debut in late 2025. These enhancements encompass a new multi-ship pier, a convenient tram service, an oversized heated pool, and extended popular onboard experiences to the island, such as an adult-only retreat and a family-friendly recreation area.

Such improvements are in line with NCL's expansion of its Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries for the spring and summer of 2027. With eight ships, including the newest additions, Norwegian Aqua™ and Norwegian Viva®, and embarkation points throughout Florida, guests are offered a broad selection of cruise options.

For those seeking shorter getaways or island adventures, NCL's three to 11-day cruises to the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda stand out. Notably, visits to the company's private islands, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize, feature on nearly every voyage. These destinations provide idyllic beach experiences alongside unique shore excursions and tailored island offerings.

Moreover, NCL's European voyages for the spring and summer of 2027 are set to captivate travelers with more seven-day itineraries, overnights, and late departures. Eight ships, including the brand's newest and refurbished vessels, will be deployed, offering itineraries from 10 popular embarkation ports. With over 90% of their time spent in port and an average stay of nearly 11 hours, these port-intensive voyages promise an in-depth exploration of Europe's most enchanting cities.

NCL also caters to the growing trend of "coolcations" with its Alaska season. Starting in late April, voyages from Seattle, Whittier, Alaska, and Vancouver, British Columbia, will be available on ships specifically designed with ample outdoor and indoor spaces to appreciate Alaska's scenic beauty. The ships, Norwegian Encore®, Norwegian Bliss®, and Norwegian Joy®, along with Norwegian Jade®, will offer seven to 10-day voyages, providing unparalleled views of the region's landscapes and wildlife.
