Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport Achieves Global Rank For On-Time Flights
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has been named the world's most punctual airport for flight schedules in May, according to global rankings announced by aviation analytics leader Cirium Diio, according to Saudi Gazette reports. The achievement highlights the commitment to operational excellence at the capital's airport.
Ayman Abu Ababa, CEO of Riyadh Airports Company, stated that this accomplishment was due to the dedication of the airport and its partners in providing top-notch operational services. He also emphasized the commitment of the company's employees to achieving high levels of excellence, given the airport's prominent position as a gateway to one of the most active regional capitals in various economic, tourism, cultural, and entertainment sectors.
The distinction aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals and reinforces the country's leading role in numerous sectors and aspects of sustainable development.
In January, King Khalid International Airport was ranked third by Cirium Diio. This rapid rise to first place within just five months demonstrates significant progress in the airport's global standing.
