Planning Your Indonesian Adventure? Must-Know Tips For Omani Citizens

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta has issued important guidelines for Omani citizens planning to visit Indonesia. These guidelines include passport validity, visa acquisition, and renewal procedures.

Omani nationals must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months before entering Indonesia. This is a crucial requirement for entry into the country.

Upon arrival at Indonesian airports, Omani visitors can obtain a tourist visa. The cost of this visa is 500,000 Indonesian rupiah, which is approximately US $35. This visa allows a stay of up to 30 days.

If an extended stay is needed, the tourist visa can be renewed for another 30 days. Renewal requires payment of additional fees and must be completed before the initial 30-day period expires.

Alternatively, Omani citizens have the option to apply for a visa through an online platform. This provides flexibility and convenience for those planning their travel in advance.

These measures ensure that Omani travellers comply with Indonesian immigration regulations and avoid any potential issues during their stay. The embassy's announcement aims to facilitate smooth travel experiences for Omani citizens visiting Indonesia by providing clear instructions on necessary preparations and procedures.
