IndiGo To Start Direct Daily Flights From Chandigarh To Abu Dhabi
Indian budget carrier IndiGo is set to enhance its presence in the UAE by launching a new daily direct flight from Chandigarh, a prominent north Indian city, to Abu Dhabi, starting May 15. This strategic move aims to cater to the growing demand for better connectivity and accessible travel options between India and the UAE.
The introduction of this route marks a significant milestone for IndiGo, increasing its weekly flight operations to Abu Dhabi to 63 from nine different cities across India. According to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, this expansion is intended to boost travel, trade, and tourism, while also embracing the rich socio-cultural exchanges between the two nations.
