flynas To Start New Bi-Weekly Flights Connecting Dammam And Red Sea Next Week
Starting from December 28, flynas, the premier low-cost airline of Saudi Arabia, will introduce twice-weekly services directly connecting King Fahad International Airport in Dammam with the Red Sea International Airport.
This move aligns with flynas's strategic expansion plans and supports the national goals within the aviation sector. The airline’s initiative to establish a new route underscores its commitment to enhancing connectivity within the kingdom and facilitating access to major development projects such as the Red Sea Project, which plays a pivotal role in the Saudi Vision 2030 program.
Located in the kingdom’s northwest, the Red Sea International Airport is set to serve the extensive Red Sea Project, an ambitious tourism venture aimed at transforming the region into a luxury destination. This development is a cornerstone of the Saudi Vision 2030 program, designed to diversify the economy and reduce its dependence on oil.
By connecting one of its four operational bases in Dammam to this emerging hub, flynas not only bolsters its domestic network but also contributes to the growth and accessibility of Saudi Arabia's burgeoning tourist destinations.
Since its inception in 2007, flynas has successfully transported over 80 million passengers, with a vision to extend its reach to 165 destinations both within Saudi Arabia and internationally. Currently, the airline operates more than 1,500 weekly flights, connecting over 70 destinations worldwide. This extensive network reflects flynas's significant role in facilitating travel and promoting tourism and business across the region.
