flydubai's New Business Class Lounge Launched At T2, DXB

Luxury has a new destination — T2! Earlier today, flydubai inaugurated its latest addition to enhancing passenger experiences, a brand-new Business Class Lounge situated in Terminal 2 of Dubai International (DXB). This development is part of the airline's ongoing efforts to provide superior travel experiences for its customers.

The lounge's strategic location post passport control and security check-points in the Departure area of Terminal 2, alongside a direct boarding gate for Business Class passengers, underscores flydubai's commitment to customer convenience and service excellence.

The lounge itself spans an impressive 900 square metres, designed to accommodate over 200 passengers. Its design, inspired by the serene beauty of desert dunes, features warm tones and minimalist aesthetics, offering a tranquil environment for passengers. The lounge is not just about visual appeal; it is equipped with a variety of seating areas tailored for dining, lounging, and quiet relaxation.

Furthermore, passengers can enjoy an array of dining options, from an international buffet to à la carte meals, alongside practical amenities like shower facilities, a prayer room, complimentary Wi-Fi, workstations, and multiple charging stations.

The unveiling ceremony of the lounge saw the presence of notable figures including Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai's Chief Commercial Officer, and Major-General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director-General of the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs, among other distinguished guests and media representatives. This significant event marks another milestone in flydubai's service expansion, reflecting its dedication to offering an enhanced travel experience.

Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai's Chief Commercial Officer, said, "This year, flydubai is celebrating a milestone in its journey marking 15 years of operations. In addition to the lounge, flydubai has introduced a dedicated Business Class check-in area at Terminal 2, further streamlining the travel experience for its premium passengers. This dedicated check-in space offers a personalized Meet and Assist service, seated check-in, and Fast Track access through passport control and security, ensuring a swift and hassle-free start to their journey.
