Emirates Steps Up For Hajj Season: Extra Flights To Jeddah And Madinah Announced

This Hajj season, Emirates is fully prepared to accommodate the influx of pilgrims traveling through Dubai to Jeddah and Madinah for the critical Muslim pilgrimage. The airline has implemented extensive measures to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for travelers embarking on this significant trip, focusing on every aspect of travel from the air to on-ground services.

To facilitate the increased number of pilgrims, Emirates has introduced 10 extra flights scheduled between June 7 and June 10, as well as between June 21 and June 26, to transport pilgrims to Jeddah and Madinah. These additional services are strategically timed to complement the flight schedules from key Hajj markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, Côte d'Ivoire, Mauritius, South Africa, Senegal, and Pakistan. Operating alongside Emirates' regular flights to these Saudi cities, the added flights offer enhanced flexibility and options for pilgrims from across the airline's global network. To accommodate high demand during Eid Al Adha in mid-June, Emirates has also arranged 19 flights to various cities including Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Beirut.

Seamless Airport Journey Throughout

Emirates aims to provide a seamless airport experience for pilgrims from the moment they arrive in Dubai International Airport, during any stopover in the city, and as they connect onwards to Jeddah and Madinah. Special teams have been deployed to assist pilgrims throughout their airport journey, ensuring a smooth process at every step. From welcoming travelers at the arrival gate with special greetings to escorting them to the connection desk or the Emirates Hotel Desk for hotel voucher collection, the airport service teams are dedicated to providing comprehensive support. Pilgrims' luggage will be easily identifiable with special Emirates 'Hajj’ baggage tags, further simplifying the travel process.

In addition, special gifts will be presented to pilgrims on the official UAE Hajj flight departing from Dubai on June 11, marking a thoughtful gesture by Emirates to honor the significance of their journey.
