Emirates Expands Network With Three New Destinations In Asia Starting June 2025
Emirates, renowned for being the largest international airline globally, is set to expand its network in Asia by launching daily direct flights to Shenzhen from Dubai starting 1 July 2025. This move is complemented by the introduction of services to Da Nang four times a week from 2 June and thrice-weekly flights to Siem Reap beginning on 3 June, both connecting via Bangkok.
This strategic expansion enhances Emirates' connectivity within the region, positioning it as a leading non-Asian airline in terms of diversity and reach across East Asia with a total of 269 weekly flights to 24 destinations.

This new route adds to Emirates’ existing services to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, solidifying its presence in China. Moreover, the initiation of flights to Da Nang marks Emirates' third destination in Vietnam, while its operations to Siem Reap enhance its offerings in Cambodia.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, highlighted the airline's focus on serving the dynamic regions of Southeast Asia and East Asia. "Our expansion into Shenzhen opens new doors for business and economic exchange between this technological powerhouse and global markets. As we prepare to launch operations, we extend our gratitude to the Chinese authorities and airport partners for their ongoing support and are committed to ensuring this route's success while fostering cultural bonds and unlocking future economic potential," Kazim stated.
He added, "Vietnam holds a strategic place in our Southeast Asia network. Our decision to expand operations to Da Nang as our third point in Vietnam comes at an opportune moment, following the landmark Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam. We are confident that our new service will elevate the existing bilateral trade and commercial collaboration between our nations."
The flight schedules for Shenzhen are designed to optimise connections from Dubai to various global destinations, including African, Middle Eastern, European, and American cities. The new routes will be serviced by Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, featuring its latest Business Class and acclaimed Premium Economy seats, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
