Emirates To Offer Special Easter Celebrations Onboard And In Lounges

Emirates is set to elevate the festive spirit with a unique culinary and entertainment experience for its passengers during the Catholic and Orthodox Easter celebrations in March and May. Travelers on select routes will be treated to traditional Easter delicacies and the latest family-friendly entertainment onboard.

From 29th to 31st March, passengers flying to destinations including Australia, the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa, Mauritius, and Ghana, across all classes, will be presented with Easter-themed treats. Economy Class passengers will enjoy either a hot cross bun or Easter bread with their meal, complemented by a carrot cake with très leches sauce for dessert. Those in First, Business, and Premium Economy classes will have the added indulgence of a chocolate cake with ganache and redcurrants or a strawberry cheesecake adorned with a mini-Easter egg. Children across all classes will be delighted with a 'Happy Easter’ biscuit shaped like an egg. Additionally, the A380 Onboard Lounge will offer traditional Easter simnel fruitcake with marzipan.

During the Orthodox Easter from 5th to 7th May, on flights from Dubai to Russia, Cyprus, and Greece, First and Business Class passengers can enjoy herb-crusted lamb with roasted potatoes, baby carrots, and tzatziki sauce, concluded with Easter cake, also known as Kulich bread.

Emirates Lounges Easter Offerings

Between 29th March and 1st April, Emirates lounges worldwide will serve classic Easter dishes. In Dubai, the First Class lounges will offer lamb chops, roasted potatoes, and vegetables or a rich lamb stew. The Business Class lounges will also cater to a variety of Easter-themed cookies and chocolates, ranging from chocolate pots to homemade milk chocolate ice cream and chocolate gateaux.

Festive Entertainment on ice

Emirates’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system, ice, boasts over 6,500 channels, including up to 2,000 movies and several 2024 Academy Award-winning films such as "Oppenheimer," "Zone of Interest," "American Fiction," and "Anatomy of a Fall." April sees the addition of new releases like "The Color Purple," "The Lesson," "Napoleon," "Freud's Last Session," "The Taste of Things," and "May December." For younger travelers, the extensive collection includes Disney Classics, Marvel Studios, and the complete Harry Potter film series, with new releases like "Wish," "Migration," "Wonka," and "Trolls Band Together" ensuring entertainment for the entire family during their Easter journey.
