Ayoub El Mamoun, Skyscanner's Travel Expert, provided insights into these emerging trends. "With Eid Al Fitr just a month away, the majority of UAE travellers we surveyed are eager to maximise their holiday period with trips up to 2 weeks long. There's a noticeable shift towards destinations like Kazakhstan, Seychelles, and Cyprus, indicating a preference for both culture-focused travel and relaxed holiday options this Eid Al Fitr break," he explained.
El Mamoun also offered advice for those still in the process of choosing a destination. Utilising Skyscanner's 'Everywhere’ search feature can serve as a source of inspiration, presenting the most economical options available. For instance, a quick 'Everywhere' search on the platform can reveal appealing round-trip offers, such as flights to Türkiye starting from Dh864, Italy from Dh1,177, and Hungary from Dh1,467. For travellers with a specific destination in mind but open to varying travel dates, Skyscanner’s 'up whole month’ tool can be invaluable. This feature allows users to identify the cheapest days to fly at a glance, facilitating the selection of the most cost-effective deals.
This year's Eid Al Fitr break presents an ideal opportunity for UAE residents to explore new destinations and create memorable experiences. With these insights, travellers can make informed decisions, ensuring their holiday plans are both enjoyable and economically viable.
