Celestyal Unveils Exciting New Itinerary: 14-Night Cruises to Jordan and Saudi Arabia
Celestyal is expanding its cruise offerings with the introduction of four new 14-night repositioning cruises, enhancing its winter sun season in the Arabian Gulf. These cruises will take passengers through two countries the brand hasn't explored before: Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
The journey includes first-time stops in five ports: Aqaba and Ain Sukhna in Egypt, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Muscat in Oman, and Sharm El Shiekh, heralding the cruise line's return to Egypt after a hiatus of two years.

The cruise line has announced an enticing itinerary named 'Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi,' which will be available on both ships in the fleet. The Celestyal Journey is set to embark from Athens on November 22, 2025, making its way through various notable ports including Port Said, Sharm El Shiekh, Aqaba, Jeddah, and Muscat before reaching Dubai.
It will arrive in Abu Dhabi on December 6, 2025, just in time for the highly anticipated Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. Following this event, the ship will commence its 'Desert Days and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix' cruise on December 7, offering guests the unique experience of the race weekend coupled with the first 'Desert Days' sailing of the season.
Following closely, the Celestyal Discovery will set sail from Athens on November 28, 2025, tracing a similar path to its sister ship but with an added stop at Kusadasi, Turkiye. This itinerary will mark the ship's first arrival in Abu Dhabi on December 13, 2025, in time for its inaugural winter season. During this season, the ship will offer three-, four-, and seven-night 'Iconic Arabia' itineraries and will be based in the Arabian Gulf for the next three years.
In addition to the outbound cruises, Celestyal will also offer two return 14-night voyages titled 'Amazing Abu Dhabi to Ancient Athens’ and 'Dazzling Doha to Ancient Athens.’ The Celestyal Discovery will embark from Abu Dhabi on March 6, 2026, and includes a stop at Ain Sukhna, Egypt, on its return to Athens for the summer Greece and Mediterranean season. The Celestyal Journey, departing from Doha on March 21, 2026, will feature a visit to Kusadasi, Turkiye, on its way back.
This expansion comes on the heels of the Celestyal Journey's successful return to Athens after an extended maiden season in the Arabian Gulf, where bookings surpassed targets by 27%. The success was attributed to the ship's homeporting in Doha, Qatar, under a three-year agreement with the state.
Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal, said, "Last year, we committed to offering our guests even more destinations. Whether they are returning travellers or new to cruising, we welcome everyone with the warm hospitality that is at the heart of our heritage. Our tenth anniversary year will be bigger than ever, beginning with extensive renovations across our fleet and an expanded programme featuring two new countries, five new ports of call, and a long-awaited return to Egypt."
The cruise line celebrated a record-breaking year in 2024 with the highest bookings ever, a testament to the support from guests, regional partners, travel agents, and staff.
"2024 was a record-breaking year for Celestyal, with our highest-ever bookings. We know this success is thanks to the incredible support of our guests, regional partners, travel agents and staff. As we look ahead, we remain committed to delivering unmissable experiences for our guests," Haslett added.
The new cruises offer a range of pricing options, starting at $339 per person for a four-night journey and $1029 per person for a 14-night cruise. These prices include meals, soft drinks, WiFi, port fees, and gratuities, making it an all-inclusive experience for travelers seeking to explore the Arabian Gulf and beyond.
