Bahrain Mandates 3 AM Closure For Hotel Food And Beverage Services
In a move to streamline hospitality operations, Bahrain has introduced new regulations requiring all hotel food and beverage (F&B) outlets to close by 3:00 AM. This mandate, part of Decision No. (10) of 2024, was announced by Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi as part of an update to the country's hotel classification standards.
Key Changes:

- F&B Closure: All hotel food and beverage services must cease operations by 3:00 AM.
- Entertainment Restrictions: Live music, DJ performances, and other entertainment must wrap up by 2:30 AM, and cannot resume until 12:00 PM in some hotels, while others face a stricter restriction prohibiting such events until 6:00 PM.
These regulations aim to align hotel operations with Bahrain's updated standards for food and beverage services, while also improving the oversight of hospitality activities. Notably, the new rule repeals the 2023 regulations concerning operating hours for F&B services, as well as any conflicting regulations.
This shift is part of Bahrain's ongoing efforts to fine-tune its tourism sector, balancing vibrant nightlife with more structured hospitality standards.
