Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, stated, "Through this tour, we aim to raise awareness about Ajman as an attractive tourist destination, while exploring new opportunities for fruitful collaboration and knowledge exchange." He further mentioned their goal to establish strategic agreements with UK tourism representatives to draw more visitors to Ajman.
The UK market significantly contributes to Ajman's tourism growth, ranking among the emirate's top ten source markets. In 2024, there was a 9% rise in visitors from the UK. Additionally, the average stay length increased by 36% compared to the previous year. This growth highlights Ajman's appeal as a preferred destination for British travelers.
