Air Arabia Launches Non-Stop Flights From Sharjah To Vienna

The Middle East and North Africa's leading low-cost airline, Air Arabia, has announced the start of direct flights from Sharjah to Vienna. This new route underscores the airline's ongoing efforts to broaden its reach, providing travelers with more affordable and accessible options for exploring new destinations.

The service launch is part of Air Arabia's strategic plan to enhance connectivity between the UAE and Europe, offering passengers more choices for their travel plans.

The celebration of the inaugural flight included events at both Sharjah International Airport and Vienna International Airport, demonstrating Air Arabia's commitment to building strong ties between the UAE and Austria.

Air Arabia already flies to popular European destinations like France, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Poland, Portugal and many more.

Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, along with other senior representatives from Air Arabia, were present at the departure ceremony in Sharjah, emphasizing the significance of this new route for enhancing bilateral relations and travel options between the two countries.

Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, Adel Al Ali, expressed his enthusiasm for the new service, stating, "The launch of our new route to Vienna underscores Air Arabia's unwavering commitment to expanding our network and offering passengers more travel opportunities to explore exciting destinations.
