Air Arabia Egypt Launches Non-Stop Flights From Cairo To Istanbul

Air Arabia Egypt has announced the launch of its first non-stop service from Cairo to Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, marking a significant addition to its expanding network. The inaugural flight, which embarked from Cairo International Airport on April 6, was met with traditional festivities, including a water cannon salute upon its arrival in Istanbul.

The new route will see flights operating three times a week — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — offering travelers an affordable and convenient way to explore the vibrant city of Istanbul. Air Arabia Egypt's commitment to providing economical travel options is further exemplified by its choice of aircraft and in-flight services.

The airline's fleet, comprising the latest Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, is known for its comfort and efficiency. Flight Schedule Details

The flight schedule is meticulously planned to cater to the convenience of travelers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Flight E5 987 is set to depart Cairo International Airport at 11:15 am, arriving in Istanbul at 2:30 pm. The return flight, E5 988, will take off from Istanbul at 3:20 pm, reaching Cairo at 4:30 pm.

Saturdays will see a slightly different timetable, with Flight E5 987 departing Cairo at 9:55 am and landing in Istanbul at 1:10 pm. The return journey, Flight E5 988, will leave Istanbul at 2:00 pm and arrive in Cairo at 3:10 pm.
