10,000 Schools Transformed: Yuva Unstoppable Marks a Historic Milestone in Education

Hon’ble Union Minister for Law & Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal Inaugurates Yuva Unstoppable's 10,0001st Transformed School In the Heart of New Delhi. New Delhi, 21st July, 2026: The atmosphere at Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School was vibrant with NCC music and a sense of purpose as Union Minister for Law and Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal officially inaugurated the 10,0001st school revamped by Yuva Unstoppable, made possible through the philanthropic backing of Nuvama.

Founded in 1927, Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School is approaching its centenary, adding a layer of historical weight to this milestone celebration. The highlight of the morning was the unveiling of a state-of-the-art smart classroom, a tangible example of how modern technology can elevate the learning environment in government schools. The event was attended by key figures from the Gates Foundation, Nuvama, Fortis, Korn Ferry, Baker Hughes, PolicyBazaar, and other corporate partners, alongside the school’s students, faculty, and families, all of whom are central to the initiative's mission.

The ceremony in New Delhi, which launched a future-ready digital classroom at Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School through the collaboration of Nuvama and Yuva Unstoppable, gathered leaders from the Gates Foundation, Fortis, Korn Ferry, Baker Hughes, PolicyBazaar, and various civic and corporate sectors to mark two decades of Yuva Unstoppable’s work in upgrading government schools across the country.

A Ribbon Cut, A Charkha Offered

The proceedings began with students guiding guests through an exhibition of STEM and AI projects. This included interactive demonstrations and AI-driven solutions from startups like Torchit, Easiofy Solutions, Doto, and Everse—all of which were recognized at the AI Impact Summit in February 2026. Following the tour, Minister Shri Arjum Ram Meghwal performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the 10,0001st Yuva Model Smart Classroom. In keeping with the organization's tradition, a student honored the Minister with a Gandhi Charkha, symbolizing the value of patient, meaningful labor.

Smart Classrooms, Real Stories

The event then transitioned from ceremony to demonstration, as a live smart-class session provided guests with a firsthand look at how Yuva Unstoppable’s technology is modernizing the daily experience for government school students. This was followed by personal stories and short films that highlighted the human impact of the initiative. Dikshita Sharma, a student at Lady Irwin, reflected on the change:

"I have been learning from textbooks for quite a long time, but the modern world demands digital skills. The Smart Mode has made learning enjoyable and fun, we can now learn concepts in maths and science easily. Thanks to Nuvama and Yuva Unstoppable for giving us this platform, which we deserve for learning in the modern world," said Dikshtha Sharma, student." - Dikshita Sharma, Student Beneficiary, Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School

A film detailing the impact of the school transformation initiative, supported by Fortis in Bikaner, was followed by a teacher’s perspective. The teacher discussed how Yuva Unstoppable’s digital education and capacity-building efforts, facilitated by Korn Ferry, have noticeably improved teaching and learning outcomes. Another film highlighted a less-publicized aspect of the organization's work: the implementation of AI-enabled learning tools at a school for the visually impaired in Bikaner, underscoring Yuva Unstoppable’s commitment to ensuring technology-enabled education reaches every child.

Voices That Shaped the Morning

Amitabh Shah, Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of Yuva Unstoppable—who famously chose to dedicate his career to public education after his time at Yale and a stint at JP Morgan—addressed the attendees. Reflecting on the journey from the first school in 2005 to this 10,0001st milestone, he stated:

"I am deeply grateful to Union Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal for gracing this occasion, and to every guest who took the time to walk through Lady Irwin's corridors with us today. Your presence tells our children that they are seen, and that someone believes their future is worth showing up for. This work has never been about charity; it is about selfless sewa, giving without asking what comes back, because that is the only kind of giving that truly transforms a community. Twenty years and 10,001 schools later, that spirit of sewa remains the only compass we have ever needed." - Amitabh Shah, Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer, Yuva Unstoppable

Satya Jha, Partner, Chief Business Officer of the Grant Thornton, spoke next on behalf of one of Yuva Unstoppable's most significant global partners, situating the Lady Irwin transformation within the wider concept of purpose and philanthropic investment:

"I've been associated with YUVA Unstoppable for quite some time now. And, you know, when people say it's hard to do a good thing, I say it's the easiest thing to do. Find somebody who is doing good work and tag to them, and you become part of something good. So, it's very nice to be here and see so many people here. Educating children is one of my foundational purpose areas. It is very fulfilling. In contributing to some of these initiatives and making an impact on the community, I feel like I'm making something out of my life." - Satya Jha, Partner, Chief Business Officer of the Grant Thornton

A Minister's Word, A Family's Blessing

The Minister returned to the stage to present the Gandhi Charkha to the philanthropic leaders in recognition of their support. During his keynote, Union Minister for Law and Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal recited a verse from Kabir, "Chadariya Jhini Re Jhini" (चदरिया झीनी रे झीनी), using the metaphor of a finely woven sheet to discuss the purity of the soul and the importance of selfless service. He encouraged the audience to live with mindfulness and integrity, remaining conscious of the impact of their actions.

Additionally, the Minister also appreciated the transformative work done by YUVA Unstoppable in ensuring the access of dignified and inclusive education. These closing remarks reinforced the themes of gratitude and collective responsibility before the event concluded.

A Conversation That Left the Girls Charged

The event concluded on a high note with an informal session between Mr. Rajiv Gupta, President of PolicyBazaar, and a group of girl students. This unscripted dialogue covered topics ranging from career aspirations to personal confidence, leaving the students visibly inspired. Many lingered afterward to continue the discussion, serving as a fitting end to a day focused on opening new opportunities. With 10,001 schools now transformed, Yuva Unstoppable continues to operate on the belief established in 2005: that school transformation is synonymous with community transformation. The smart classrooms at Lady Irwin are not an end, but a milestone on a path that is still being paved.
