Mumbai is seeing a notable rise in sophisticated heart procedures, with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) becoming the preferred choice for those suffering from severe aortic stenosis. The city has recorded a 25% year-on-year jump in TAVR cases, highlighting a shift toward minimally invasive methods that provide shorter hospital stays, quicker recovery times, and better quality of life, with results that increasingly rival traditional surgery.

Aortic stenosis is among the most prevalent heart valve conditions for people over 60, occurring when the valve narrows and restricts blood flow from the heart.
