Coimbatore, 30 July – A special felicitation ceremony was held on the evening of 25 July at the corporate headquarters of Martin Groups on Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore, to mark the 50-year career milestone of Mr. Santiago Martin, Chairman of Martin Groups. The event was highlighted by a significant act of corporate appreciation, as the company presented substantial financial gifts to 50 of its most dedicated, long-serving employees.

In a notable gesture of generosity, the 50 employees—all of whom have served the company for more than 25 years—were each awarded a gift of ₹30 lakh. This total disbursement of ₹15 crore serves as a clear reflection of the Chairman’s belief that loyal staff members are truly part of the extended Martin Groups family.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Mr. Srinivasan, Managing Director of Annapoorna Groups; Dr. Padmashri Bhaktavatsalam, Chairman of KG Hospital; Mr. Senthil Thondaman, former Chief Minister and former Governor of Sri Lanka; and Mr. Kamalakannan, proprietor of Thana Impex. These guests offered their congratulations to Mr. Santiago Martin and recognized the veteran employees who have been instrumental to the company’s success.

The ceremony was also attended by the Chairman’s son, Mr. Jose Charles Martin, MLA, who played an active role in the proceedings.
