Preckon AI Arrives in Dubai to Revolutionize Construction Tech

Dubai, UAE: Marking a major step in international tech cooperation, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, Consul General of India in Dubai, has officially unveiled Preckon. This AI-native construction intelligence platform, created by entrepreneurs from Canada and India, aims to drive digital transformation across the Middle East’s construction sector. The launch signals a strategic move to incorporate cutting-edge technology into regional infrastructure, paving the way for enhanced efficiency and innovation for stakeholders throughout the GCC.

Utilizing artificial intelligence, Preckon is engineered to streamline pre-construction planning, refine cost estimation, evaluate engineering drawings and tender documents, and provide real-time project insights. The platform empowers contractors, consultants, developers, and infrastructure firms to boost productivity, minimize project delays, and facilitate faster, data-backed decision-making within the GCC construction landscape.

Preckon AI Launches in Dubai

Preckon’s official entry into the UAE market was strategically guided by Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala. His comprehensive support—covering stakeholder engagement, ecosystem partnerships, branding, government outreach, and market-entry strategy—was instrumental in defining the company’s regional expansion roadmap.

The company was co-founded by Mr. Sreedhar Gonepally (Sunny), CEO & Co-Founder of AIGCC LLC-FZ and President of the Canada Chapter of the World Telugu IT Council (WTITC), alongside Mr. Uma Mahesh Mukkara, a technology entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Preckon. Together, they contribute decades of global experience in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.

Following the launch, the delegation engaged in strategic discussions with senior officials at the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) regarding the potential establishment of Preckon’s regional operations in Ras Al Khaimah. Given the emirate’s rapid expansion in construction, industrial development, tourism, hospitality, and large-scale infrastructure, RAKEZ expressed interest in supporting AI-driven construction technologies, positioning Ras Al Khaimah as a prime location for global tech firms entering the Middle East.

Additionally, the delegation met with leadership from the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) to explore potential partnerships in artificial intelligence, construction technology, innovation, and research commercialization. The SRTIP leadership welcomed the proposal and discussed ways to foster AI-powered construction solutions within Sharjah’s expanding innovation ecosystem.

During the launch event, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, praised the vision behind Preckon and welcomed the strengthening collaboration between India, Canada, and the UAE in the field of emerging technologies. He observed that the UAE continues to provide a vibrant innovation ecosystem for international technology companies, urging entrepreneurs to utilize the country’s business-friendly climate to develop solutions with global scalability.

Mr. Sreedhar Gonepally (Sunny), Co-Founder of Preckon, said, "Preckon was built with a vision to transform the construction industry through artificial intelligence and intelligent automation. Our objective is to help the industry make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions while improving efficiency and reducing project costs. The UAE provides an exceptional environment for innovation, and we are excited to contribute to the region’s digital transformation journey through strategic partnerships and advanced AI solutions."

The introduction of Preckon, coupled with strategic talks at RAKEZ and SRTIP, highlights the growing momentum of Canada–India–UAE cooperation in artificial intelligence, construction technology, and digital innovation. It further solidifies the UAE’s status as a preferred hub for global technology firms looking to expand into the GCC through innovation-led partnerships.
