Bangalore, October 19, 2026 - Masai School has introduced the LEAP Founders’ Cohort, an immersive, action-oriented initiative designed for budding entrepreneurs. Moving away from theoretical instruction, the program focuses on solving genuine problems with tangible solutions, all while maintaining a 0% equity and 0% revenue share model. The curriculum is structured across three distinct stages: an initial three-day in-person session in Goa, a six-week period dedicated to online development, and a final two-day event in Bangalore, where qualifying teams present their work directly to investors.

Entry into the cohort is competitive, with each application undergoing a rigorous review process. Selected participants will gain insights from founders who have collectively secured more than $2.4 billion in funding, collaborating within mentor pods of 10 -15 peers at comparable stages of development. The lineup of mentors features Farid Ahsan (ShareChat co-founder; General Autonomy), Ankush Sachdeva (ShareChat), Amit Agarwal (NoBroker), Harshvardhan Lunia (Lendingkart), Ishendra Agarwal (GIVA), Arpita Aditi (Dil Foods) and Abhishek Goyal (Tracxn, NSE-listed).

LEAP Founders Cohort: Build Your Startup Dream Now

This initiative arrives as the narrative of India’s startup ecosystem pivots from capital acquisition to actual product creation. The mentors guiding the program have successfully established companies across diverse sectors, including social media, proptech, lending, jewellery, food and startup data. The Pitch event is set to host investors such as India Quotient, Capria Ventures and Prana Ventures. While the opportunity to present is the primary objective, funding remains subject to the outcome of the pitch.

Prateek Shukla, CEO and Founder of Masai School, said, "Starting a company cannot be learnt in a classroom. Founders need to make decisions with real constraints, build something people will use and learn from those results. The LEAP Founders’ Cohort creates that environment: founders learn alongside people who have built companies in India, test their ideas with users and earn the right to pitch to investors what they have built. Masai's bet is that the next generation of Indian companies shouldn't need a famous address, an insider network or a stake given away up front."
