Gujarat-based production house LS Films, spearheaded by the father-daughter team of Sanjay Jha and Shreya Jha, has confirmed a significant two-picture deal with acclaimed writer and director Dr. Darshan Ashwin Trivedi. This partnership serves as a strategic milestone for LS Films, merging their production capabilities with Dr. Trivedi’s track record for delivering high-concept, emotionally impactful cinema. The agreement covers both a Gujarati feature and an independent Indian-American project to be shot abroad, highlighting a commitment to connecting regional storytelling with a worldwide audience.

Dr. Darshan Ashwin Trivedi, a notable name in both the Indian film sector and the academic world, contributes substantial artistic depth to this collaboration. Recognized for his skill in blending intricate human emotions within both commercial and independent cinema, his body of work features celebrated titles like Mrugtrushna, Mara Pappa Superhero, Lakiro, Keri, Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, Aaj Jaane Ki Zidd Na Karo, and Bicycle Thief. Outside of his directorial work, Dr. Trivedi holds the position of Professor of Practice at MICA - The School of Ideas, reinforcing his status as a connector between academic concepts and the changing landscape of the international film business.
