How Jyoti Structures Celebrated World Environment Day with 1,000+ Employees

Jyoti Structures Limited Commemorates World Environment Day 2026 with Over 1,000 Participants Nationwide. Mumbai, 9th June, 2026: Jyoti Structures Limited (JSL), a publicly traded global Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firm focused on power transmission infrastructure, marked World Environment Day 2026 by launching a range of staff-driven programs across its Indian manufacturing facilities, corporate offices, and project locations. Adopting the theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future," the campaign engaged more than 1,000 employees, workers, NMR personnel, and subcontractors, highlighting a unified dedication to environmental stewardship.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Dutta, COO, Jyoti Structures Limited, said: "World Environment Day is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on how our daily actions connect to the world around us. This year, we saw genuine participation from our teams at project sites, manufacturing units, and offices. People came together not because it was required, but because they care. Whether it was planting a tree, joining a cleanup, or taking a pledge, each of these actions reflects the values we try to bring to our work every day. We are proud of the energy our teams showed, and we will carry this spirit forward."

JSL's Massive World Environment Day Celebration

JSL staff members engaged in various activities customized to suit their specific local environments and requirements. Among the community-oriented efforts were a beach cleanup initiative at Juhu Silver Beach in Mumbai, conducted alongside a local NGO, an internal drive promoting the switch from single-use plastics to reusable glass bottles, and an initiative in Ahmedabad where employees produced and distributed cloth bags to encourage sustainable habits.

Tree planting campaigns took place at Phalodi, Bhuj, Navinal, KPS3, Halwad, Boisar, Pune, Ghoti, Gwalior, and both of the company's Nashik manufacturing plants, with client representatives participating in the events at Phalodi and Halwad. In addition to these activities, staff across all sites took part in environmental pledges and educational sessions focused on water and energy conservation, waste management, plastic reduction, sanitation, and the preservation of green areas. Furthermore, the Gwalior team attended a workshop dedicated to plastic-free living, energy efficiency, and the adoption of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.

Pragati Nagar, Head of HR, Jyoti Structures Limited added, At JSL, we believe that meaningful change happens when people feel personally connected to a cause. The enthusiasm we witnessed across our offices, manufacturing units and project sites this World Environment Day was truly encouraging. Employees embraced these initiatives with a strong sense of ownership, whether through plantation drives, cleanup activities, awareness sessions or simple everyday actions that promote sustainability. What stood out was how teams adapted activities to their local communities and environments, making the efforts more relevant and impactful. Building a culture where employees actively contribute to responsible and sustainable practices is an ongoing journey, and we are proud to see our people leading the way.

JSL maintains internal audits aligned with its established IMS audit plan, which encompasses Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards. The company operates manufacturing plants in Nashik and Raipur, alongside a tower testing facility located in Ghoti, Maharashtra.
