Boost your career with Galgotias University alumni.

This expansive network is evolving into a key strategic advantage for current students. Each graduate who is managing a team, operating a business, or advancing their career internationally represents a valuable resource—serving as a potential mentor, recruiter, or advisor for the next generation of students.

A network across 91 countries

Outside of India, the most significant concentrations of Galgotias alumni are found in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany and the Gulf region, with a presence extending throughout Europe, Africa, South-East Asia and South America. To support this, the University has formalized international chapters in London, Singapore, Dubai and Hong Kong, complementing its domestic chapters in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

The community spans the entire professional spectrum, encompassing recent graduates just starting out as well as seasoned veterans who graduated prior to 2010. Given its proximity to the Greater Noida campus, the Delhi NCR region hosts one of the largest alumni clusters, providing students with immediate access to professionals working in technology, consulting, banking, law, media and entrepreneurship.

Where Galgotians are making an impact

Galgotias graduates occupy senior positions at major global organizations, including Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon Web Services, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, PwC and Tata Consultancy Services. Their professional influence extends far beyond India’s borders. For instance, one alumnus serves as Executive Vice President and Country Head for LTIMindtree in Japan, another oversees major partnerships and deals for Wipro across Europe, while others direct engineering and product development teams in Seattle, Austin, Toronto, London and Germany.

Many others have launched their own enterprises. Alumni have established startups across sectors such as consumer goods, legal services, media, aerial innovation, esports and enterprise software, with operations spanning India, the United Kingdom and the United States. Furthermore, graduates are making significant contributions to research, ranging from 6G wireless engineering in Germany to doctoral studies in neuroscience at the University of Sydney.

What it means for current students

Through GALEX, the Galgotias Alumni Experience, graduates frequently return to campus to provide instruction and mentorship. Initiatives include "One More Lecture," which invites alumni into the classroom to discuss real-world industry practices; "GALEX Inspire," which features alumni-led panels focused on leadership and career development; and "GALEX Build," which links student entrepreneurs with established alumni founders. Additionally, Alumni Home Coming visits often result in new opportunities for mentorship, collaborative projects and internships.

During the Samagam event, alumni were encouraged to further strengthen their engagement by dedicating time to support current students via mentorship, guest lectures, internships and job referrals. This process is facilitated by the Galgotias Alumni Network platform and mobile app, which includes a dedicated mentorship module for connecting students with experienced professionals, as well as a careers portal for posting job openings and candidate referrals.

In a message to the University’s alumni, Dr Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer, Galgotias University, said, "You have graduated, but you have not left. Galgotias is your home, and it always will be. Our alumni, wherever they are in the world, are the strongest proof of what this University stands for and the greatest resource our students have. We are asking every Galgotian to come back, to share what they have learnt, and to open doors for the students who follow them."

What it means for prospective students

For prospective students evaluating their university options, this network provides access to a community of graduates already established in their desired industries and regions, offering a systematic way to connect with them from their very first year. This, combined with the more than 5,500 job offers extended to Galgotias students by over 1,250 recruiters in 2026, ensures that the University’s support system continues to benefit students long after they graduate.
