Elevate Your Facade Design with Aludecor Metallux Solid Aluminium Sheets

ALUDECOR INTRODUCES METALLUX, A NEW ENGINEERED PRE-COATED SOLID ALUMINIUM SHEET. Kolkata, 14 August, 2026, Tuesday: Continuing its track record of disruptive innovation in the Indian aluminium composite panel market, Aludecor has officially unveiled Metallux, an engineered pre-coated solid aluminium sheet designed for modern architecture.

This latest solution combines exceptional flatness, rigidity, fire safety, durability, and design versatility, providing architects and façade specialists with a high-performance alternative for diverse interior and exterior projects.

Aludecor Metallux: Premium Solid Aluminium Sheets

Saurav Kabra, Director, Aludecor, introduced Metallux alongside Ashok Kumar Bhaiya, Founder and CMD, Aludecor, with the company’s marketing, production, and sales teams in attendance.

Speaking at the launch, Saurav Kabra said: "Metallux represents another important milestone in Aludecor’s journey of engineering materials for the evolving needs of architecture. We wanted to take solid aluminium beyond being simply a sheet material and engineer it for greater flatness, fire safety, durability and design freedom. Metallux is the result of that approach."

ENGINEERED SOLID ALUMINIUM FOR CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE

Metallux is constructed using 2/3 layers of laminated aluminium skins, which provides the sheet with increased stiffness, rigidity, and superior flatness. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for projects where dimensional stability, large-format aesthetics, and clean lines are essential.

Unlike standard composite panels, Metallux is free of any thermo-plastic core. The material has secured a Class A2-s1, d0 fire classification according to EN 13501-1, making it a reliable option for projects where fire safety is a primary requirement.

The material also offers significant fabrication flexibility. It can be routed, cut, perforated, and folded, enabling architects and fabricators to produce three-dimensional forms, intricate patterns, and curves.

During production, Metallux goes through a factory-controlled multi-coat, multi-bake process on a continuous coil-coating line. Its PVDF/FEVE coating systems ensure colour consistency while offering protection against corrosion, weathering, and industrial pollutants, all supported by a warranty of up to 20 years, depending on the specific coating system used.

Available in a wide array of colours and architectural finishes—including concrete, stone, and wood-inspired surfaces—the product gives designers the freedom to explore diverse visual styles.

Metallux is suitable for a variety of applications, such as curtain walls, façades, building renovation, wall cladding, soffits, fascia, entrances, canopies, screens, balconies, interior ceilings and walls, perforated panels, column covers, signage, and retail or institutional spaces.

This blend of design flexibility and engineered performance creates new opportunities for architects who want to look beyond traditional solid aluminium sheets.

DESIGNED WITH SUSTAINABILITY AT THE CORE

Metallux is produced using 100% recyclable aluminium, which supports more sustainable material choices in modern architecture. Its low-maintenance nature and durability ensure long-term performance.

Through the launch of Metallux, Aludecor continues to grow its range of innovative architectural solutions, bringing engineering-focused material advancements to a new market segment.
