The recent "Rising Stars Arabia 3" event, held at the scenic Yas Links Golf Course in Abu Dhabi, has once again put Arab boxing prowess in the spotlight. With AAM Seddiqi Sports at the helm, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, this event was streamed live on DAZN and ESPN Knockout, marking a significant milestone in the promotion of Arab boxers on a global stage. The event concluded last Saturday, showcasing a series of fights that thrilled boxing enthusiasts around the world.

The main event saw Moroccan super featherweight Jaouad "The Moroccan Bomber" Belmehdi (20-1-3, 9 KOs) clinch a victory against the previously undefeated Ghanian Alfred Lamptey (13-1, 9 KOs). Belmehdi, a former French Lightweight Champion, secured his win through a 10-round split decision, making it his fourth consecutive win. This bout, described as a legitimate Fight of the Year candidate, ended with scores of 96-94, 96-94, and 93-97 in favor of Belmehdi.

Local Heroes Shine in Co-Main Events

In the co-main event, UAE's own Fahad "Kid Emirati" Al Bloushi (14-1, 3 KOs), the nation's most experienced pro boxer, extended his winning streak to 13 against Venezuelan lightweight Andres Garcia (14-8-1, 11 KOs) in an eight-round decision. Another standout UAE talent, super flyweight Sultan Al Nuaimi (11-0, 7 KOs), impressed the home crowd with a fifth-round stoppage of Venezuelan Eliu Canario (14-4, 11 KOs).

Knockout Performances and Surprising Outcomes

The event featured several knockout performances, with Ugandan welterweight Isaac Zebra, Jr. (3-0, 3 KOs) taking down Ahmed Saad (4-3, 1 KO) in the first round. Indian welterweight Faizan Anwar (17-0, 9 KOs) delivered a surprising knockout of former Egyptian Super Welterweight Champion Abdumonem "Braveheart" Saad (23-4-1, 11 KOs) in the opening round.

Additional highlights included Egyptian cruiserweight Youssef Karrar (4-0, 3 KOs) achieving a third-round technical knockout over Yusuf Kizito (0-1), of Uganda. Meanwhile, Egyptian featherweight Mostafa Mohammed Fahmi Komsan (2-0, 1 KO) edged out Guan Mu (1-3-1, 0 KOs), of China, in a six-round majority decision.

Undercard fights also saw Moroccan welterweight Anas Hafiane improve to 3-0 with a knockout, while United Arab Emirates super middleweight Fahad Alkhoori (3-1, 3 KOs) faced an upset by Ariemba Isalah Odhiambo (2-4, 0 KOs), of Kenya. The evening commenced with Syrian heavyweight Kenan Marai (1-0, 1 KO) knocking out Congo's Eureka Mwamba Kabeya (0-2) at the end of the first round.
