Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2025 Explores Eastern And Western Philosophical Influences

The Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2025 commenced this evening at King Fahd National Library. Organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, the event spans three days under the theme "Philosophy Between East and West: Concepts, Origins, and Mutual Influences." This annual gathering continues its mission of fostering global intellectual exchange and highlights Saudi Arabia's role as a hub for cross-cultural dialogue.

Dr. Abdullatif Alwasel, CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, addressed attendees during the opening. He emphasised that this fifth edition builds on a project initiated five years ago. It has evolved into a significant initiative that enhances philosophical presence and enriches cultural dialogue while reinforcing Saudi Arabia's status as a global knowledge platform.

The conference features sixty speakers from various countries and philosophical backgrounds.
