Riyadh Prepares For The Asian Indoor And Martial Arts Games In 2026 With Key Reviews
The Coordination Committee for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, scheduled for "Riyadh 2026," recently convened with the Organizing Committee at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh. The gathering included notable figures such as Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), and Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah, a SOPC board member.
Prince Fahd bin Jalawi expressed appreciation to the leadership for their unwavering support, which has elevated Saudi Arabia's status as an exceptional host for major sports events. He noted that this success aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 under the guidance of the Minister of Sport and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Hosting this year's games marks a significant achievement, as it is the first time a West Asian country will host such a major sporting event.

During the meeting, members of the Coordination Committee from the Olympic Council of Asia evaluated various services planned for the games. They discussed accommodations for athletes, services for national Olympic committees, and procedures for obtaining entry visas and accreditation cards. These aspects are crucial to ensure smooth participation in the event.
Additionally, discussions covered essential areas like medical services, communication networks, ceremonies, protocol arrangements, marketing strategies, and anti-doping measures. These elements are vital to ensure a successful execution of the games while maintaining international standards.
