First Look: Wynn Resorts Unveils Luxurious Wynn Al Marjan Island Resort In Ras Al Khaimah

Wynn Resorts has unveiled new images of its upcoming luxury resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is currently being built in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This beachfront resort, spanning nearly 62 hectares on an island in the Arabian Gulf, is set to be the first integrated gaming resort in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. The project is a collaboration between Wynn Resorts, Marjan, and RAK Hospitality Holding.

Wynn Resorts' in-house design and development team, Wynn Design and Development, is overseeing the entire project. With over 90 architects, designers, and creative visionaries, the team has played a significant role in designing and developing Wynn's iconic gaming resorts around the world. The team's President and Chief Creative Officer, Todd Lenahan, highlighted the historic significance of Ras Al Khaimah as a trade landmark and expressed the hope that the resort would become a new beacon for travelers.

Wynn Al Marjan Island will offer guests a luxurious experience with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and the natural beauty of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will comprise 1,542 rooms and well-appointed suites, including 22 exclusive Villa Estates located on the newly designed marina. The expansive poolscape, covering 3.6 hectares, will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, private cabanas, and tropical landscaping. The resort will also boast a curated collection of 22 dining, lounge, and bar experiences, each with its own unique design and many offering views of the beach and poolscape. Guests can also indulge in bespoke production shows at the resort's theater. For those seeking retail therapy, a 15,000-square-meter shopping esplanade will be filled with top luxury boutiques. Additionally, the resort will house a five-star spa, a salon, and a 7,500-square-meter meetings and events center.

Construction on Wynn Al Marjan Island began in early 2023 and is being led by UAE-based main contractor ALEC Engineering and Contracting. The resort's structure is currently 40 meters tall, and it is expected to reach its full height of over 300 meters by the fourth quarter of 2025.
