Empowering Women Through Sport: The Women's Run 2024 Edition

The Women's Run, the largest women-only running event in the region, is set to return with a bold new look and vision for its 2024 edition. Taking place at Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai on Sunday, 3rd November from 6AM, the event invites women runners of all levels to participate in a 3-kilometer fun run, a 5-kilometer circuit, or a challenging 10-kilometer distance. The run aims to celebrate and empower women from diverse backgrounds while promoting strength, unity, and progress in the region and beyond.

Organized by Planb Events with support from the Dubai Sports Council, The Women's Run has garnered backing from well-known local and international brands such as Expo City Dubai, Fade Fit, ASICS, and Paint Brush. The refreshed brand logo symbolizes inclusivity and excellence while capturing the energy and movement of the race.

Expanding across the Middle East

The event seeks to extend its reach throughout the Middle East, attracting participants from local, regional, and international communities. In doing so, it aims to celebrate today's women through a shared sense of empowerment and unity.

Community-led initiatives

Leading up to the main event, The Women's Run team plans to activate community-led initiatives and highlight their carefully curated Women Of Substance cohort for 2024. This initiative aims to build a female community where each woman believes in her potential and inspires others around her. Eleven exceptional profiles have been selected to share their stories of triumphs and struggles on social media platforms.

An event for the entire family

The Women's Run offers captivating experiences for the whole family, including fitness challenges and empowering discussions about staying fit. The event welcomes various athletic community groups, women entrepreneurs, resilient mothers & humanitarian organizations such as Special Olympics UAE, Heroes Of Hope, At The Park, 5:30_Run, Dubai Creek Striders, IF_Endurance, Gulf for Good, British Mums, Launch SHE, Skillopaedia in Dubai among others.

Registrations are now open on Premier Online with ticket prices starting at AED 52 for adults and AED 26 for juniors. Participants can avail themselves of a 15% early bird discount using code WR15 until July 26th, 2024.
