UAQ Mall Champions Sustainability With Greenify Our World Initiative

In a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, UAQ MALL embarked on a comprehensive initiative from the 5th to the 10th of June 2024. The event was designed with a multi-layered approach to engage, educate, and inspire participants across all ages towards a more sustainable future.

Central to the initiative was the act of planting tree saplings, symbolizing hope and collective responsibility towards the environment. This activity took place on the 10th of June 2024, with notable figures such as Lieutenant-Colonel Nasser Sultan Bin Youssef, Head of Community Police Department, Mr. Talal Mohamed Isifan, Head of Agriculture and Garden Department, and Dr. Saifudheen, Principal of The New Indian School (UAQ), alongside officials from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education. Together, they planted saplings and contributed to the goal of planting 1000 tree saplings across various schools in the Emirate, reinforcing the message of environmental stewardship for future generations.

From the 5th to the 10th of June 2024, UAQ MALL witnessed a series of performances by students from The New Indian School and Wise Indian School.
