UAE Launches New Obstacle Course Racing Centre In Mina, Ras Al Khaimah To Enhance Community Sports

The partnership between Arabian Warrior and RAK Properties marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) in the UAE and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This alliance is set to launch a state-of-the-art Obstacle Course training center at Mina, offering a specialized venue for both seasoned athletes and newcomers to the sport. The facility aims to nurture talent across various community groups, including schools, thereby contributing to the development of future OCR champions.

Mina's waterfront destination, under the stewardship of RAK Properties, is poised to become a beacon for sports and recreational activities. The CEO of RAK Properties, Sameh Muhtadi, emphasized the alignment of the Arabian Warrior training center with Mina's vision to enhance active living and wellness. The introduction of this facility is part of Arabian Warrior's broader initiative to establish a comprehensive sporting ecosystem that spans from grassroots to elite levels of competition. This includes the launch of the Arabian Warrior Schools Series, aimed at encouraging sports participation among the youth and identifying upcoming talents across the UAE. Moreover, the Arabian Warrior GCC Series will feature eight dynamic events across the region, culminating in a grand season finale at Mina, attracting elite OCR athletes globally and spotlighting the region as a premier OCR destination.
