Two Popular Dubai Eateries Are Expanding To Abu Dhabi This Month

Abu Dhabi is set to welcome two popular eateries from Dubai, Barbar and Chai Sutta Cafe, enhancing the city's culinary offerings with their unique Lebanese and Indian flavors. Both establishments are renowned for their authentic tastes and are eagerly anticipated by food enthusiasts in the capital.

Patrons know that both cafes are not just about the food but also about creating spaces where people can gather, relax, and enjoy quality meals in a welcoming atmosphere.

Lebanese Delights at Barbar's New Branch

Barbar, a name synonymous with authentic Lebanese cuisine, is expanding its presence to Abu Dhabi, opening a branch in Al Saqr Tower on Al Corniche. This marks Barbar's first venture into the capital, contributing to its growth across the UAE, with existing locations in Dubai's Hessa Street and Business Bay Avenue already winning hearts.

The restaurant is celebrated for its traditional Lebanese dishes, rich in flavor and made from top-quality ingredients. Its menu spans from shawarma to broasted chicken, alongside fresh salads, BBQ, and a selection of desserts that promise a genuine taste of Lebanon.

The Abu Dhabi outlet will also cater to families with kid-friendly meals, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. The design of Barbar's interior aims to foster a cozy setting suitable for casual dining, whether for a snack or a comprehensive meal, capturing the essence of Beirut in a contemporary setting.

Walid Hajj, CEO of Lavoya Restaurant Group which operates Barbar in the GCC, shared his enthusiasm about the new opening, saying, "We are excited to announce the opening of our first Barbar branch in Abu Dhabi. This location represents more than just a store; it marks our entry into the capital and aligns with our commitment to enriching the dining scene." Barbar plans to serve customers from 8:00 am to 2:00 am on weekdays and extend its hours till 3:00 am on weekends, with options for both dine-in and delivery.

Chai Sutta Cafe: Bringing Indian Tea Culture to Abu Dhabi

Chai Sutta Cafe, beloved for its Indian tea and snacks, is opening its doors in Abu Dhabi at a prime location on Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street, Al Danah, Zone 1. Known for its cozy ambiance and authentic Indian flavors, the cafe aims to replicate its success from Dubai in the capital.

To celebrate its launch, Chai Sutta Cafe has announced a special offer on Sunday, September 29th, serving its signature Kulhad Chai and Bun Maska for an irresistible price of just AED 5 all day.

The menu includes mouth-watering treats such as Samosa (AED 7), Paneer TT Sandwich (AED 15), and Veg Cheese Pizza (AED 24), along with refreshing drinks like Mango Lassi (AED 14) and Peach Iced Tea (AED 10).

The founders of Chai Sutta Cafe, Anubhav Dubey, Anand Nayak, and Rahul Patidar, expressed their excitement over the expansion: "The opening of our first outlet in Abu Dhabi is a significant milestone in our journey to create a warm, inclusive space outside India where people can come together and enjoy the simple pleasures of life."
