These Are The Top Nationalities Investing In Dubai Property In H1 2024
Dubai's real estate market continues to attract investors, with British buyers leading the way in the first half of 2024, according to a report by W Capital. The brokerage firm highlighted that high returns and attractive investment opportunities have kept the sector robust. Other top purchasing nationalities include Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Canadians, French, Italians, Dutch, Pakistanis, and Turks.
Dubai's position as a global real estate destination is bolstered by several factors such as relatively high rents, easy property financing options, and the ease of obtaining residency visas. These factors encourage wealthy residents and foreigners to buy property instead of renting. W Capital anticipates that sales this year will range between Dh450bn to Dh500bn.

Strong relations with investing nationalities
Walid Al Zarooni, CEO of W Capital, explained that many investing nationalities have strong commercial partnerships with the UAE, making Dubai a reliable destination. He added that high living standards and job opportunities in Dubai are particularly appealing to Asian and Middle Eastern nationalities.
The positive economic conditions in Dubai, along with the benefits of residency visas and an attractive tax system for new businesses, contribute to its appeal. The emirate's cultural diversity also plays a role in attracting investors from around 200 different nationalities worldwide.
Al-Zarouni mentioned that other nationalities showing interest in Dubai's real estate market include Egyptians, Americans, Saudis, Russians, and Iranians. Despite price increases over the last three years, he believes there is still room for growth due to high demand and limited supply, prompting many companies to launch new projects.
