His new role will see him expand his purview to include both culinary and food & beverage operations at the resort, promising to further elevate the luxury dining experience Park Hyatt Dubai is renowned for.

Before his latest promotion, Sydney had already left a significant mark on the resort's dining scene. His leadership was pivotal in the Traiteur Brunch being named "Best Brunch in Dubai" for two consecutive years.

His dedication to excellence, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail has been central to setting new standards in luxury dining across the region. This commitment is evident in his daily work ethic; Sydney is known for being the first to arrive and the last to leave, ensuring every aspect of the dining experience is flawless.

Sydney Stranger Becomes Director of Culinary

Subsequently, at Jumeirah Group, Sydney held executive chef positions at Al Qasr and Dar Al Masyaf and played a crucial role in culinary operations at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Wild Wadi Waterpark. His responsibilities spanned menu development, ensuring HACCP compliance, and driving concept innovation.

Sydney also showcased his pre-opening skills by leading culinary concept launches for Zabeel House Dubai and overseeing several hotel openings under the Jumeirah brand.

In his role as Director of Culinary, Sydney leads a substantial team of over 240 professionals, managing 15 diverse restaurants, exclusive private dining experiences, and high-profile events.
