The Sunken City Walk At Deep Dive Dubai: A Unique Underwater Adventure Experience
Dubai continues to solidify its status as a hub for unforgettable adventures with the introduction of the Sunken City Walk at Deep Dive Dubai. This innovative underwater attraction is designed to captivate guests with a surreal cityscape beneath the waves, featuring elements like an underwater swing, a motorbike, and a café table, reminiscent of a scene from a film.
This adventure does not require any swimming skills or certifications, making it accessible to individuals aged 10 and older. Currently, the experience is available at an introductory rate of AED 600, with an additional option to purchase a 30-second souvenir video for AED 200. Sessions are scheduled four times daily at 11 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM.

The experience begins with a comprehensive briefing on safety, followed by guests suiting up in provided wetsuits and equipment. Accompanied by skilled instructors, participants embark on a 20-minute guided stroll through the submerged city.
For those intrigued by the mysteries beneath the surface, Deep Dive Dubai provides a gateway to the captivating world of diving. Beyond the initial allure of the Sunken City Walk, visitors have the opportunity to delve deeper into underwater exploration. They can choose from a range of activities, including scuba diving, freediving, and various specialised diving courses, each designed to enhance their aquatic adventure.
Jarrod Jablonski, Director of Deep Dive Dubai, said, "With Sunken City Walk, we're continuing to shape Dubai's reputation as a city of unforgettable experiences. It's a unique attraction that reflects Dubai's spirit, where visitors can discover adventure in ways they never thought possible."
The introduction of Sunken City Walk is timely, aligning with the shifting preferences towards experiential spending. According to Shamal's Experience Economy Report, a staggering 75% of UAE residents now prefer to spend their money on experiences rather than goods, with 80% setting aside a monthly budget specifically for this purpose. This trend is reflective of a broader shift in consumer behavior, emphasizing the value of memorable experiences over physical items.
Dubai's commitment to enhancing its global tourism appeal is further evidenced by the latest figures from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), which reveal a six percent year-on-year increase in international visitors, totaling 9.88 million in the first half of 2025.
These statistics underscore Dubai's successful positioning as a premier lifestyle and tourism destination. By adding the Sunken City Walk to its portfolio, Dubai introduces yet another avenue for visitors to engage with the city's dynamic spirit of innovation and adventure.
