Sharjah Set To Host 6th 'Gulf Madhyamam Come On Kerala' This Week
The 6th edition of 'Gulf Madhyamam Come On Kerala-2024', the Middle East's largest Indian trade, entertainment, and cultural fair, is set to take place on June 7-9 at the Sharjah Expo Centre. This event, held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is organised by Gulf Madhyamam in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Gulf Madhyamam promises an event filled with new and exciting features this year.
The expo is a much-anticipated event for the Indian community in the UAE, offering a broad spectrum of activities. Business summits focused on investment opportunities in India and the UAE will kickstart the event on June 5 in Sharjah. Over the course of three days, 'Come On Kerala' will showcase commercial exhibits, entertainment, educational activities, and cultural and music events. Highlights include the Indo-Arab Women's Excellence Awards, the 'Little Artist' drawing competition for children, and a variety of competitions and training workshops for families. Attendees and participants will also have the opportunity to win significant prizes. The expo will conclude with the 'Gulf Madhyamam' Silver Jubilee celebration on June 9th, featuring notable guests.

This year, 'Come On Kerala' aims to further strengthen India's commercial ties with the Middle East through a diverse array of programs. The event will run from 10:00 to 22:00 each day, featuring popular Malayalee actors Nivin Pauli and Parvathi Thiruvoth. An engaging session titled 'Lights, Camera, Action' with Directors Blessy and Salim Ahmed is scheduled for the first day. The following days will see 'Machans in Sharjah' with Raj Kalesh and Mathukkutty entertaining the crowd.
For the younger attendees, 'Little Artist' drawing competitions and 'Sing n Win' contests will be held, offering fun and prizes. The 'Fashion Fusion' session by Stephy Zaviur will provide insights into the latest trends, while food enthusiasts can look forward to the Dessert Master Live Cooking Competition, Tasty Indian Stalls, and Chef Pillai's Cooking Workshop.
Entrepreneurs from India and the UAE will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services in health, tourism, education, shopping, and interior design. The evenings will be enriched with cultural events such as 'RahMania', celebrating AR Rahman's songs, and 'Waves of Memories', honouring Indian womanhood with actress Parvathi as the chief guest. The 'Indo-Arab Women Excellence Award' will recognize the significant contributions of women in various fields. The event will climax with 'Beats of Kerala', featuring performances by social media and stage stars, culminating in the grand silver jubilee celebration of Gulf Madhyamam on Sunday, June 9, at 5:00, attended by distinguished personalities from the UAE and Kerala.
