Dubai: Taste The World's Finest Sweet Delights At Premier Patisserie Event Next Month
Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie is gearing up for its third edition in Dubai, scheduled from September 18-20, 2024. This event, dedicated to chocolate, pastry, gelato, and sweet delights, will be held at Madinat Jumeirah.
The exhibition will feature international and local professional chocolatiers, pastry chefs, and industry specialists showcasing some of the world's finest pastries, chocolates, ice cream, and desserts. Visitors can taste and purchase exquisite chocolates from leading brands and meet renowned pastry chefs.

This year's edition introduces new pavilions for gelato and barista professionals. It will also include participation from dates and honey producers, ice-cream shops, importers, suppliers, and celebrity chefs. Unique activities such as The Fashion Show, The Pastry Show, Choco Demo, Salon Du Chocolat Junior, and more will engage attendees with expert insights.
Among the highlights is the Chocolate Fashion Show featuring 13 chocolate dresses themed "Wild & Wonderful Glamour." Created by executive pastry chefs with Esmod Dubai students' help, these dresses promise to be spectacular. Bernard Charles from Bateel International LLC remarked: "The Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie Dubai is not just an exhibition; it's an experience that indulges all the senses."
The event will also host The Talks: sessions where industry leaders discuss trends in pastry, chocolate, and coffee. UNEP will present on food waste and sustainability. The Coffee in Good Spirits Championship will showcase baristas' skills in creating innovative coffee-spirit blends.

Since its inception in Paris nearly 30 years ago, Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie has become a global reference for chocolate and pastry trends. Today it is held in major cities worldwide including New York, Tokyo, London, Brussels, Cologne, Lyon, Shanghai, Marseille, Zurich, Cannes, Milan Hong Kong Riyadh Beirut among others.
This year’s event welcomes Guillaume Gomez as guest of honor. Joumana Damous-Salamé emphasized: "The event fosters collaboration innovation networking across the entire industry."
Not Just any Other Show
The Pastry Show will feature workshops led by globally renowned executive chefs while Choco Demo hosts live culinary demonstrations by experts. The show includes 43 competitions masterclasses like Best 3D Cake Design Best Chocolate Showpiece KITKAT Dessert Challenge. Andy Cuthbert noted: "We're thrilled to collaborate with Hospitality Services elevate this prestigious competition showcasing chocolate at its finest."
The third edition promises a bigger event fueling Dubai's passion for chocolate pastries being at forefront thriving industry, according to Joumana Damous-Salamé, managing director at Hospitality Services.
