Rustaq Wildlife Reserve: Oman's Prime Spot For Eco-Tourism And Adventure
The Rustaq Wildlife Reserve, nestled in South Al Batinah, Oman, is rapidly emerging as a premier destination for eco-tourism and adventure sports enthusiasts. The reserve is not only about its wildlife; it also houses over 110 species of plants and trees, some of which are on the red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Remarkably, many of these plants, including thyme, shuaa, and qafs, hold significant economic value for the local communities, showcasing the reserve's role in sustaining both the environment and the economy.
